The Sayings

YANKEY
	Died at her home in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood, near this place, on the 6th inst., Mrs. J. S. Yankey, after a lingering illness of consumption. 
Deceased was a pure Christian woman and an earnest worker in the church and Sunday school. She died a most triumphant death, and was perfectly reconciled to the will of her Father. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. W. Peeples, assisted by Rev. J. L. Murrell, of Springfield, in the Methodist church at this place, of which she was a member. 
She leaves a husband and four children besides numerous relatives and friends to mourn her loss.(Mackville) (TS Wed Jan 15, 1896)
