Born Dec. 13, 1905, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Johnson and Myrtle Moberly Speake. She was a member of Lancaster Christian Church. She was the widow of Charles Forrest Yeakey. Survivors include a son, Farris Yeakey of Boyle County; two daughters, Jessie Y. Webb of Lexington and Vivian Montgomery of Lebanon, Ind.; a sister, Della Oaks of Lexington; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryce McCulley. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Walker, Paul Rankin, Patrick Trese, Darby Montgomery, Caywood Metcalf and Woodie Leavell. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
