The Commonwealth of Kentucky
Whereas, R. D. Johnson, has been appointed, by the County Court of Laurel County, and has qualified as Guardian to David Watkins a minor.
Now, we, R. D. Johnson......as principal and W. B. Johnson his sureties, do hereby covenant to and with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, that the said R. D. Johnson will faithfully discharge the trust of Guardian to said minor, in all respects as required by law.
Signed this 15th day of July 1862
