In the name of God Amen
I, Dicey Farris, being very far advanced in years and
knowing that all must die but being of sound mind and desposing memory, do make
and constitute this my last will and testament. Hereby revoking all other wills
or devises made by me heretofore.
1st., I will and bequeath to my daughter Mary Farris, the tract of land upon which we now live being the same tract of land which was deeded to me by my father, John Farris.
2nd., I also will to my said daughter Mary Farris, my bay horse (Jim) and all other stock I have on hand. Also my household and kitchen furniture of every kind whatever. The foregoing bequest is in consideration of the care and attention which I have already received of my said daughter, Mary, and with the understanding that she is to take care of and provide for me the remainder of my natural life.
