I Lot Pitman Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Inventory of appraisment of the Estate of John Jackson dec. was produced to the County Court aforesaid at the May term thereof & examined & orded to be recorded which is done accordingly.

Agreeable to an order made by the County Court of Laurel at the April term 1833 we the undersigned commifioners after having first duly sworn, we met at the late dwelling of John Jackson Dec-d & proceeded to afsign and lay off to Mary J. Jackson her dower right in the slaves & land belonging to said Dec-d agreeably to the above recited order, as follows to wit & firs of the slaves

Page 53 After afsigning the above named Negros to Mary F Jackson widow of John Jackson dec-d from the appraisment bill we find due to her one hundred & sixty dollars 66 cts as her third part of the negros appraised belongins to said Estate-

We have also taken into consideration all the land lying in Laurel County belonging to said deceased Estate delivered to us by the administrator we have also laid off & afsigned to Mary F Jackson the following tract as her dower right in said lands as followeth to wit of the town lotts of London at Begining at the N West Corner 2Chestnut sprouts thence with the Town line S 48 W 32 poles to a stake thence S 16 East 28 poles to a maple & redoak thence S 5 e-

ast 51 poles to a small white oak thence N 70 West 82 poles to a white oak & poplor in Talbots line thence N East 44 poles to a stake in Thompson line thence west with Thompsons line 220 poles to a white oak thence N 315 poles to a stake thence E 365 poles to a stake in a glade thence S 145 poles to a Spanish oak thence N 80 West 28 poles to three white oaks, thence S 108 poles to a Spanish Oak thenceS 34 West 46 poles to the beginning, it being the lands conveyed by John Farris, Charles Warren and a part of the land conveyed by Thomas Dean to John Jackson dec-d. The abov e described track of land containing 715 acres by calulation and including all the improvements contained in said Boundary given under our hands this 1st day of May 1833. B.
