I, James Payne, of Laurel County, Ky., being at this time in very bad health and well knowing the uncertainty of life, and the certainty of death. And being desirus whilst in my proper mind to make some disposition of my worldly affairs, do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows.
1st.viz, After the payment of all my just debts I will and bequeath to my wife, Orry ? Payne one half of my entire estate both real and personal.
2nd., I will the other half of my estate to my infant daughter, Kathy ? Margaret Payne
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 21st day of April 1859
