2) Had a brother named John McCormick. John had a wife , 3 girls, and 2 sons.

3) James and John both were in Civil War. His brother John was sent home seriously wounded were he died shortly before the birth of his 2nd son (Peter).- and his wife died giving Peter birth.

4) James B McCormick married Mary Cooper in Knox Co,TN after the 1850 Census-

She was residing in 1887 in Altamont Laurel Co,Ky

She lists James died at Mershon X roads Kentucky-   ( As written)
he died of Consumption of the bowels and piles.

She did not remarry.

Admits to living in Roane ,Campbell Co,TN,and Laurel Co,KY  prior...

On the pension request she admits to having a son under 16 years of age and
he is Hains born- 4-22-1875

Mary has birthdate as 5-30-1833 on papers for pension
but on her marriage area of their bible she has it as 5-30-1832.
