3) James and John both were in Civil War. His brother John was sent home seriously wounded were he died shortly before the birth of his 2nd son (Peter).- and his wife died giving Peter birth.

he died of Consumption of the bowels and piles.
She did not remarry.
Admits to living in Roane ,Campbell Co,TN,and Laurel Co,KY prior...
