Laurel County
In the name of God Amen.
I Chapman Watkins of said County above being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory for which I thank God and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath in manner following. That is to say.
1st. I desire that my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
2nd. I give my sons George Watkins and Riley Watkins one dollar each.
(thirdly) All the rest of my estate both real and personal of what nature or Kind soever it may be I give to my wife Elizabeth Watkins and her children and if she marries then to fall to my children by her.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 15th day of March in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty.
Signed sealed published and declared as and for the last Will and Testament of the above named in the presence of us all.
