I William Edwards of the County of Laurel and State of Kentucky make this my last Will and Testament in manner and for to wit:

1st. I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and to make provisions for the payment of the same I desire that my executor hereafter mentioned sale at private or public sale whichever may be to the interest of my estate so much of my stock and farming implements as my family can best spare and the proceeds applied to the payment aforesaid.

2.d. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses aforesaid I will and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Edwards the remainder of my estate real and personal to enjoy the full use rents and profits of the same during her life and at her death I desire that my executor make sale of my real estate and such of the personal estate as may be on hand after making full and ample provisions or such as may not of been necessary for the support and maintenance of the family on such credit as my executor may think right and that the proceeds thereof be equally divided between Amanda Killion and Elizabeth Loyd an infant orphan which I have in charge and in case of the death of either Amanda Killion or Elizabeth Loyd without issue I desire that my daughter Nancy Morgan wife of William Morgan have their interest in the estate and in case of Nancy Morgans death that her children have the estate to be equally divided between them. I further desire that Andrew McHargue be appointed guardian for Elizabeth Loyd attend to and protect her interest see that she is educated and for that purpose he may use a portion of her interest in the estate. And lastly I hereby appoint Levi Jackson my executor to carry out the full provisions of this Will hereby revoking all other or former Wills.

A writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of William Edwards deceased was this day produced in open court and proved by the oath of Levi Jackson one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and the court having heard other evidence in regard to said Will orders that said Will be admitted to record.
