William E. Heath McKinney, KY B-17 pilot 8th Air Force, 91st Bomb Group, 324th Bomb Squadron Bassingbourn, ENG KIA 17 April 1945 shot down over Dresden, GER Billy was flying the airplane "Skunkface III" (Tail # 44-6568). He was a squadron-mate of the famous "Memphis Belle". The Skunkface crew was the last crew lost from the 324th.
