A VETERAN TEACHER

Mr. Charles Taylor, one of our oldest teachers, has just closed his school at Hall’s Gap, and will
leave this country in a few days on a visit to his friends in Ohio and Missouri.
Uncle Charlie has been teaching in that vicinity for a number of years. He informs us that some of his pupils under his charge in the school
that he has just closed, are children of pupils he taught years ago.
The people of that vicinity cannot place too high an estimate of him. He will return in the fall and
will resume his duties.
