John F. Delaney was my great grandfather. His first wife was Rebecca Jane James. This first marriage produced my grandfather Reuben S. Delaney. John and Harriet Catherine are buried at Buffalo Springs. I have visited his grave, but have never been able to find out who his parents were. The first time he appears is in the 1870 census of Lincoln Co. as a 20 year old Farm Laborer in the household of James Adams.
