Hello,

I was wondering if you would be famiiliar with the names: Grandison Burk(e) 
and wife Sallie?  They were in the 1880 census in Crab Orchard with 9 
children.
My Grt Grt Grandfather was Elijah "Lige" Burke who md. Bettie Elizabeth 
Woodard/Woodward in 1895 Rockcastle Co., KY.  Thier child Alton P. Burke is 
my Grt Grandfather.  I have not been able to go in the past, past Elijah and 
if I go by the speculation of this 1880 census, it may be a start??
It said that Grandison was b/ 1821 NC as were his parents and Sallie b/ 1837 
VA as were her parents.
If you have anything that could help it would be greatly appreciated!
