I have traced my ancestor Charles S Cooley-Cowley back to Lincoln County
Kentucky in 1796 but I have been unable to find parents for him. Charles
S Cooley and his brother James Cooley married Thompson sisters, Esther
and Hannah Thompson, both daughters of William Thompson in 1797 and 1799
in Lincoln County Kentucky. Charles S Cooley owned land in Lincoln
County Kentucky on Clark's Run. This is all I know and I can't seem to
get past the brick wall and find parents for Charles S Cooley- Cowley.
