Hello!  Here is my "brick wall" that I am running in to doing my 
genealogy.....

My great grandparents moved to Waynesburg Ky, I'm not sure when.  Their names 
are Isaac Newton Greer and Gertrude Vanover-Greer.  Anyway, I cannot find 
Gertrude Vanover's parents names ANYWHERE.  I cannot find a death certificate for 
her.  She died in Waynesburg in 1939.  I did find a marriage record, and it 
says her father is Daniel S. Vanover.  However, in all the census records I 
have found, Daniel S. Vanover didn't have a daughter born in Sept. 1887.  

My grandmother had told my aunt that she thought Gertrude's parents were 
Wilbur and Mazy Vanover.  Daniel S. Vanover was married to a Mazy, and their first 
born son has been found to be listed as Wilbur/Wilburn/William.  I can't even 
get his name straight. But I'm not finding any of these to be married to a 
Mazy.  Gertrude was born in Pike Co. Ky, and that is where her parents were from 
too.  I thought the 1900 Pike Co. census would give me answers, but I as of 
yet haven't found any. 
I am at my wits end, and none of my relatives have any answers either.  We 
are baffled.  I don't know where to look next!
