I am trying to locate some kind of marriage record for my g-grandfather, James A. Hill and Mary A. Bostic or Vostic.  
They were married around 1848.   The (Samuel) Hill family farm where he would have been living was located east of Maywood 
on the north side of the RR track.  Crab Orchard was over the hill and a little farther away.  I can't find any recorded 
marriage between them in any of the Kentucky Marriages data bases on Ancestry.Com but it must be in a church record to make 
it legal.  Are there any historical church records from that area?  James A. Hill sold his share of the farm to brother 
John C. Hill who kept it until his death.  James A. & Mary Hill moved to Missouri around 1857 or 58 then later to Kansas 
in 1859.
