I have records that indicate the burial of Elizabeth (Bettie) Lyon 

Barnette in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  She was the wife of Robert 

and had one child R. Frank Barnette.  She lived in Stanford all her 

life.  I cannot get a death cert.  for some reason.  I have a copy of 

her burial expenses from the J. L. Beazley Funeral Director.  I also 

have a copy of the bill for the digging of her grave from a J. S. 

Turpin, Sexton of Buffalo Spring Cemetery.  The digging was dated May 

9, 1930.  According to my family records she was born Hannah 

Elizabeth Lyon ca 1844-46.  She died on May 3, 1931.  I have looked 

for an obit as well as the death cert. and have come up empty.  Any 

suggestions.  Her son was a very wealthy man and I feel sure she must 

have a marked grave.  Can you help me with this.
