I am researching McCormick line.  My Wm. McCormick b. c1755 in Va., md. Maria Cary 
Eggleston, served in Va. CL, moved to Pa. in 1780's, on to central Ky. c1793, both 
killed by Indians c1793, perhaps in Bourbon Co.  Son John b. 1788 shows up in Bracken 
Co. 1808.  Daughter Hannah md. Wm. Rodgers 1796 in Clark Co.  Some descendents indicate 
Wm. might have been in Lincoln Co. on some kind of military assignment.  

I have found Daniel McCormick's family in Lincoln.  Have found no connection to my Wm.  
In additon, there was an Adam McCormick 1791-5 who moved on to Garrard Co. then to 
Nicholas and Montgomery Co. before going on to Jefferson Co., Ind. where he died 1827.  
Adam was listed next to Daniel McCormick on 1792 tax list.  Then there was Hugh 
McCormick who md. Elizabeth Josling 1788 in Lincoln Co. They moved on to Garrard Co. 
where he apparantly died 1807/8.  

I am trying to determine if any of these McCormicks are related to my Wm.  An input 
would be welcomed.
