I am looking for a John Montgomery that was born in 1779 Garrard/Lincoln  

Co., KY...I would like to know whom his parents and other ancestor were.

Do you have any information on a Montgomery Family that was in Garrard/Lincoln/Clay/Kentucky in 1780.  

My ggggrandfather John Montgomery  was born 1774/1779 in  Kentucky.  The County is said to be Garrard. 

We are looking for a father of John Montgomery being a Joseph Montgomery married to a Jane.  This is 

based on new data from Missouri where in 1820 John Montgomery b.1774/79 married Ellen Moore.  She was 

from TN.  A lot was happening in those days with Indian attacks and such, and I am not sure how long 

they were there.
