Over the years we have searched for information on our Murphy ancestry...to
no avail.

Information we have had passed to us is that Abraham Murphy was born in
Lincoln County, (VA) KY in 1790.  We have no idea who his parents were or
where they came from. Any info you have available or can find would be
greatly appreciated. We understand he married Polly Hardin (born 1790 in
Grayson, KY) in Washington,  KY 2-15-1808.

If you don't have any info but have ideas on where to look that would be
appreciated as well. Thanks so much!
