Subject: Lincoln Co Ky Brick Wall

Hello,

I'm trying to work on my Smith lineage's. One of my Smith's died in Lincoln 
Co. Kentucky in Oct 1797. His name was John Smith, he was born in VA and 
moved to Kentucky sometime after 1765 (I understand it was still a part of VA 
at that time) with his wife Hannah Jackman and his son Jackman Smith. I have 
no clue where I can find anymore information about John Smith. I'm mainly 
interested in him and his  descendant's after they have arrived in Kentucky. 
I have looked for a 1790 tax list available online for Lincoln Co. and cannot 
find one. I am at the disadvantage because I no longer live in Kentucky. My 
husband is in the U. S. Army and we are located at Fort Hood TX at this time.
