Someone suggested that I contact Lincoln CO, KY, even though my family 
was found in Casey CO.  I have not been able to move beyond Lewis WARD 
for some years now.  There was no family that was obvious in Casey CO, 
KY.  It was as if he sprang up out of nowhere. 

Lewis is the brick wall for me. 

Here is my known Ward family:

1. Lewis WARD, b. ca.1798 in VA; m. Mary Margaret MONTGOMERY ca.1824 in 
Casey CO, KY; d. bet.1870-80 in Daviess CO, IN;

2. John Lewis WARD, b.1830 prob.at Casey CO, KY, m. Susan Amanda Wade 
MILES in 1857 at Daviess CO, IN; d. 1904 in Howell CO, MO;
    Children:
    Delphena; Joseph F.; Susanna A.; Sarah Elizabeth; Charles Louis;
    Alice; Mary Rachel; William Alfred; Isaac Edward; John Clayton;
    Margaret Ellen; Rosa Jane; George Washington
