Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carter, former Lincoln County residents, 
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, Sunday in Lexington 
at the home of Mrs. Minerva Jett. 
Mrs. Carter is the former Miss Effie Baughman of Stanford.
Among those who attended were, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jett and 
daughters of Arlington, VA. ; Mrs. Effie W. Carson, Mrs. Anna  Mae
McAlister, Miss Jane Dye, Miss Kaye Dye, Mr. and Mrs. Joe McAlister
and son, Joe. all of Stanford.
