GILBERT Farm Cemetery Located about 1/4 mile West of Pleasant Run Methodist Church in Logan County, Kentucky. This was where Charles Gilbert made his home in 1806. It was later inherited by his youngest son, Thomas Hopkins Gilbert. The property is now owned by Mr. M.H. Rogers of Logan County. The old two-story log house was torn down several years ago. All that is left is the chimney which is part brick and part native limestone. The cemetery lies just back of the house place. First copied by Charles F. and Judy C. His will was dated 3-04-1824 and he died 4-20-1824. See Will. Information on Sarah Jane BEAUCHAMP's grave comes from Mr. & Mrs. James J. White. Mr. White is a descendant of Thomas H. GILBERT. According to them, there was a large stone making Sarah Jane's grave. The stone disappeared some years ago. Probably someone used it for a disc weight. Mr. & Mrs. White's family then placed the steel post there to mark the grave. Charles F. Mills 1991 A Special Thank You to Charles F.
