Secret Wedding Announced
At a small gathering of friends
at the residence of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Dahringer, last night,
announcement was made of the
marriage of Miss Bettie
Dahringer to Mr. Cleo Sherrill,
which had been kept secret for
several weeks. While attending
the State fair in Louisville,
they decided to get married and
went to Scottsburg, Ind., on
Sept. 12, the ceremony being
pronounced by Rev. J.F. Ervin, a
Methodist preacher, of that
city.
The bride is a handsome and
popular young lady. She has been
book-keeper for Adams and Wayne
for some time. The groom came to
Lebanon from Adair county, in
1909, and has been employed at
McKnight's barber shop. By his
gentlemanly bearing and
attention to business, he has
made many friends here. -- The
Marion Falcon.
