Genealogical And Historical Society  

The McCracken County, Kentucky Genealogical & Historical Society was
formed in 1977 to promote interest in genealogical and historical research.


~~Meetings~~
Second Wednesday -September through May, 1:30 P.M.
in the McCracken County Public Library Meeting Room.
A program on genealogy or history is followed by a
business meeting and informal sharing.

Visitors Welcome 

~~Membership~~
Membership is open to anyone interested in family records,
family history, genealogy, and local history.
Dues are 12.00 per year.

~~Publications~~
Members recieve the McCracken County Ky.
Genealogical-Historcial Journal, published annually.
Books on McCracken County research are also available for sale.

~~Research Collection~~
The Society's research books and other research materials
are housed in the Special Collections Department of the
McCracken County Public Library, Paducah, Ky.
