MORTUARY
MICHAEL DUGAN, ---Funeral services for Michael Dugan, veteran policeman, who died Saturday morning at his home here, were held at 9o'clock Sunday morning from the St. Francis de Sales Catholic church. Burial was in Mt. Carmel cemetery. Members of the police department served as honorary pallbearers.
CAPT. JOSEPH N. SMITH -- Funeral services for Capt. Joseph Smith, well known river man of this city, who died at his home, 1612 Broad street, Friday morning, were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence, with the Rev. E.W. Elliott, of the First Christian church, officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery.
MRS. MARY ELLEN ELMORE, 70 years old, died yesterday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Greenhaigh, 335 Kentucky avenue; Mrs. Elmore had lived in Paducah for a number of years. Her death followed a feve weeks' illness. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the St. Francis de Sales Catholic church with burial in the Mt. Carmel cemetery.
MRS. CALIFORNIA E. GORE - Funeral services for Mrs. California E. Gore, who died Saturday morning at her home, 219 Adams street, were held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the residence with burial in Oak Grove cemetery.
DERR M. REED - Funeral services for Derr M. Reed, who died at his home on the Benton road Saturday night, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Symsonia, with burial in the Symsonia cemetery.
