C.C.Cummings, Paducah, dies

Clarence Chester Cummings, 76 died at 6 a.m. today at his residence, Jackson House.

He was a native of Paducah, the son of the late Jiles and Clide Bevins Cummings. he was a member of Paducah Elks Lodge No. 217 and of Grace Episcopal Church.

He is survived by a brother, Owen W. Cummings of Lone Oak; two sisters, (living) Skaggs of Paducah and (living) Elder of Chicago, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Roth Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Tim Taylor will officiate and burial will take place in Maplelawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
