Retired Employe of Railway Dead
J.C.Cummings, 64, retired engine carpenter for
the Illinois Central Railroad company, died at 7:10 o'clock Friday night
at his home 1104 Mayfield Road.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Cummings;
three daughters, Mrs. James Skaggs and Mrs. J.H. Switzer, both of Paducah
and Mrs. Hugh Elder of Chicago; three sons, Henry Cummings, Owen Cummings
and Clarence Cummings; and six grandchildren.
