Reidland is a McCracken county community six miles southeast of Paducah on U.S. 62 and 68 past Clarks River. It was named for John Barton Reid, who settled in the area in 1855. Reidland never had a post office, but was served by the nearby Epperson post office from 1884 until 1904.
