In the name of God Amen
I, Goodman Gregory, of McCracken County and State of Kentucky, being in my
proper mind make this my last will and testament. After resinging my soul
to God who gave it and my body to the grave as touching my worldly affairs?

I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Gregory, all the money and
property involving notes,I may possess of real and personal during her life.
At her decease to divide the same between my children after paying out of
my estate, Ann Mary Worthim, Fifty Dollars, Arrathisan ? Lawson, Fifty
Dollars, Namely the following children, Susan Vanmeter, Nancy R. Peserong ?
Louisa Sammly ?, Mary Ann Worthim,(above says Ann Mary instead of Mary Ann)
Arrathisan ? Lawson, Have paid my son Felix Gregory his portion of my
estate, I consider him not to be entitled to any of my estate.

This written by me and signed of my own hand in my proper mind this
21st day of September 1837

Leaving my beloved wife Mary Gregory and John C. Lawson Executors to
mamage my estate having confidence in them ,I request the Court to qualify
them without giving security or being bonded

At a County Court beginning and held for the Court of McCracken in the
County Courthouse in Paducah on the 10th day of April 1841, the within
last will and testament of Goodman Gregory dec'd was produced to the
court and proven by the oaths of Benjamin Gilman one of the subscribing
witness thereto and the same is ordered to be recorded
Whimpson S??hosen? admitted the same together with this certificate
recorded in my office

Given under my hand this 10th day of February 1842
