I, Wm. Cheeses ? knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death
do make this my last will and testament.  Viz;

I do hereby will, bequeath and give unto Robert L. Young all property that
I may die possessed of,after my debts are paid. Which are as follows,

I owe to J. W. Kaskell (123.00 ) One hundred and twenty three dollars, to
John J. Robins of Cinncanati (122.00) one hundred and twenty two dollars.
to M. Fredalsonlis ? of St Louis (150.00) one hundred and fifty dollars.
J.H. Forshee and Coalm ? amt not exceeding (8.00) eight dollars,
A Strusmeyer amt. not exceeding (12.00) twelve dollars. The amount that
I owe Burnett and Ramel, J. K. Forshee and Co., A. Strasmeyer and a
portion of J. W. Kaskel is for goods that I have on consignment to be paid
for when sold. And if not sold each party is to take back their goods at
invoiced price.

I do also appoint, nominate and make Robert L. Young my Executor to whom
I ask all my outstanding debts to be paid of which there are statements on
my account books

Given under my hand this 24th day August 1866 at Paducah, Kentucky

At a County Court for the County aforesaid held at the Courthouse in
Paducah on the 3rd day of September 1866, the foregoing last will and
testament of Wm. Cheeses deceased, was produced to the Court and proven
by the oaths of R.S. McKnight and W.W. Wilson the subscribing witness
thereto and ordered to record and I have recorded the same with this
Certificate in my office.
