AGAN-PEMBERTON Land Transaction Oldham County, Kentucky Deed Book B, p.133 This Indenture made and entered into this first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine between William Agan Senr. of the County of Woodford and state of Kentucky of the one part and Rueben Pemberton of the County of Oldham and state aforesd of the other part witnesseth that the said Agan for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and five dollars to him in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained and sold and does by these presents grant bargain sell transfer and convey to the said Pemberton his heirs and assigns forever the following tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Oldham and State of Kentucky and bounded as follows to wit Beginning at an oak tree near the edge
of the Shelby road about five poles east of Pemburtons
east corner thence south sixty degrees west to three
sugartrees which are Pemburtons south west corner thence
souththirty poles to a cherry tree sugar tree and black
ash, thence north sixtydegrees east passing two black
walnuts on the side of a hill at the distance of two
hundred poles to Agans easterly line thence north with
the said Agans easterly line to the beginning containing
thirty and a half acres be the same more or less. To have
and to hold the said tract or parcel of land to the said
Pemberton his heirs and assigns forever with all and
singular the appurtenances threreunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining and the said Agan for himself and his
heirs hereby covenants to and with the said Pemberton
that he will warrant and defend the right and title to
the said tract or parcel of land to him the said
Pemberton against the claim of himself and his heirs and
against the claims of all and every person or persons
whatever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal the day and date as above

from William Agan to Reuben Pemberton was on this day
before me proved to be the act and deed of the said
