JOHANN  VINCENZ CLAUSEN, born in Bremen, Germany in July, 1869, John passed away in Oldham Co., KY in June 1926 at the age of 86 years and 11 months.

John was survived by his wife, the former Elisabeth Margrette Koenig of 53 years. They were married on November 11, 1873 in Oldham Co., KY.

He was also survived by his children:   Frederick “Fritz” Henry Clausen, Elizabeth Clausen Hoops, Amelia Clausen Shields, Minnie Clausen Leet, Richard E. Clausen, Alma Clausen Shrader and his 30 grandchildren, and his brother, Hermann Christopher Dietrich Clausen.

He was proceeded in death by his brother Hermann Clausen and a daughter Katey Clausen.  He was laid to rest at the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Skylight, KY.
