The Oldham Era - Mrs. Molly Elizabeth Morris, 68, died Saturday at her home in the Skylight community after an illness of several days. She had suffered a heart attack. A native of Larue County, Mrs. Morris and her family had lived for 44 years in Oldham County and for most of that time on the N. E. Dick farm.
Surviving are her husband, W. M. Morris; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Allen, Louisville, and Mrs. Alec Acton, Falmouth; two sons, Frank Morris, Prospect, and Jesse Morris, Aberdeen, Washington; three brothers, Lewis Murphy of Prospect, George Murphy, Otisco, Indiana, and Pearce Murphy of Versailles, Indiana; 11 grandchildren.
The body was prepared for burial at the Ricketts- Radcliffe Funeral Home and funeral services were conducted at the Shiloh Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev. Riley Shirley. Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery. Acting as casket bearers were Ben Burch, Owen Heitzman, Richard DeJarnett, J. M. Price, Styles Thompson and Joe Gassaway.

Hilary Lloyd Thompson
"HILARY LLOYD THOMPSON, 69, a retired molder, died Wednesday at 7:25 a.m. at home, 533 N.
31st. He was a native of Loretto, Ky. Thompson worked for 35 years at American Radiator & Standard Sanitary Corporation. He retired about three years ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson; five sons, Gilbert J., H. Woodrow., John N., James R., and Robert L. Thompson; two daughters, Mrs. John H. Clausen., and Mrs. William Harrod; a brother, A.W. Thompson; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Mattingly and Mrs. C. N. Wheat; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. from the Church of Our Lady. Buriel will be in Resthaven Memorial Park,"

Oldham Era: "OCTOGENARIAN PASSES AT CENTERFIELD HOME
Mrs. Mattie Belle NEAL, widow of J. N. NEAL, died of the
infirmities of age early Thursday morning at her residence in Centerfield.
She was 82 year old. She was an active member of the Mt. Tabor Methodist
Church. She is survived by four sons, Roy and Ernest NEAL of
Louisville, Marshall NEAL of Crestwood and Thomas NEAL of Culumbus, Ohio;
one daughter, Mrs. O. PATTERSON of Louisville; nine grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. Her husband died five years age. Funeral services were
conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at the M.A. Stoess and Sons Funeral
Home by Rev. C. R. THOMAS and interment was in the Mt. Tabor Cementery.
Acting as bearers were William Zur SCHNEIDE, Steve VonALLMEN, E. B. BROWN,
Woodson LONG, Gilbert BLANTON, and James BLANTON."
