The Courier-Journal, 15 Aug 1985 Edition. "Mrs. Bessie Morris Allen, 77, of LaGrange, formerly of Louisville, died Wednesday at Bashford Manor East Nursing Home.
She was a native of Larue County and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Oldham County.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bertie Acton of Bellevue, and a brother, Jesse Morris of Seattle.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Oldham County.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 6 p.m. Thursday

Marshall Neal,
91, of Crestwood, died Monday, July 22, 1985, at the Baptist
East Hospital, Louisville. He was a native of Oldham County, a
member of the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, an army
Veteran of WWI and a retired auto mechanic. He is survived by
his wife: Mrs. Libby Bush Neal, Crestwood; one daughter: Mrs.
Rocky (Carol) Black, Crestwood; two sons: Marshall L. Neal, Ft.
Lauderdale, FL and J. W. Neal, Campbellsburg; seven
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were
held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 25th at the Radcliffe Funeral
Home, LaGrange. Rev. Richard Hollaway, pastor of Mount Tabor
Church, officiated. Interment was in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
