| He stated that he was born in the county of Culpepper, State of Virginia, in 1777. He was born and raised in the county of Culpepper, Virginia, and lived there until the spring of 1795, when he removed to Kentucky and resided there ever after. Gabriel Barbour made affidavit in the county of Oldham, state of Kentucky, date of Oct 10, 1932. He and Archer were born and raised in the same neighborhood in Culpepper County. Barbour did not serve in the war, but his older brother did. One of Archer's children was Jesse W. Archer, who lived in Orange County, Indiana in 1859. No other dates given. |
