George, Thomas
THIS IS AN ABSTRACT OF THE APPLICATION FOR PENSION - - - THOMAS GEORGE - VIRGINIA 
The above named soldier was living in the county of Oldham, state of Kentucky, when he applied for pension on the date of Sept. 18, 1832, aged 72 years.
He stated that he was born in the county of Amelia, state of Virginia, date of October 17, 1759.
He enlisted in the county of Lunenberg, state of Virginia, in the summer of Autumn of 1776.
He moved from Amelia on November 1, 1776, to Lunenberg County, Virginia.  He moved to Kentucky in 1822.
On September 9, 1839, he had his pension transferred to Jefferson County, Indiana.
John Howell, and John Rowlett, made affidavit in 1832, in Oldham County that they had known Thomas George for 30 years, that they had moved to Kentucky in 1822 from Virginia, and that they had lived in his neighborhood in Virginia.
Thomas Gains, or Gaines, made affidavit in Green County, Kentucky August 23, 1832, that he served with George in the war.  Both lived in the same neighborhood in Virginia during the Revolution.
