Will of Fielding Ashby

            I Fielding Ashby of the county of Oldham, state of Kentucky being weak and old, and frail, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, and being sound in mind and memory, do declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking, annulling and ___pealing all and every other that I have or may have made previous unto date hereof.

           1st  After the payment of all my just debts, I declare that my executors herein after mentioned, do dispose of my worldly effects as follows.  To wit, I bequeath __ To my daughter elizabeth Murphy and her bodily heirs, one eighth part of all the property real and personal, that I may possess _______ decease; To my daughters Jane Ashby, Fanny Wills, Matilda Ashby, Sydney Ashby and Rebecca Ellis, wife of John Ellis I will and bequeath unto them and their bodily heirs of their bodies and to their own possession alone, and not to be subject to the control of the husband or busbands they may hereafter have or have at present.  But all property hereby I give and bequeath to my said daughters, and the _______ heirs of bodies forever, and equal portion of all my property that I may possess at my decease except what may be hereafter mentioned.

           To my sons John and James Ashby, I will and bequeath forever to them and their heirs an equal portion of all the property that I may possess at my decease.  To my daughters Jane Ashby and Sydney Ashby ___my ___ the beds and bedding owned by each of them shall be considered as their property and to pertain in no use? To my part of the property ____ devise.  Finally, I appoint my beloved sons John Ashby and James Ashby my executors to carry into effect that my last will ___ ____ and I further desire that the ___ do it equally ____ performance of the duties they shall have_____.
