Thomas Jefferson Biddle, s/o John Biddle and Eleanor Courtney, born Jan. 8, 1848 in Bracken Co., died 1924. Buried in Walnut Grove, Pend. Co. Married, Oct. 1, 1874 in Pend. Co., Olive Jane Sharp, d/o Richard Sharp and Margaret (Peggy) Taylor, born April 22, 1858, died Oct. 12, 1949 at Chicago, Il. Buried in Walnut Grove, Pend. Co.

Olive Jane was 91 years, 5 mn. & 20 days old.

John Biddle was the s/o Caleb Biddle & ? Cummins.

10 Children born, six survived:

  1. Byron
  2. Frank
  3. Lillian
  4. Leslie
  5. Ralph
  6. Russell

Mrs. Biddle spent most of her life in Pend. Co. After her husband died, she went to Ft. Thomas and lived with her daughter Mrs. Ella Carnes; when Ella died, she went to Chicago to live with her daughter Mrs. Lillian Kiefer.

Casket Bearers: Geo. Carnes, Wm. Kiefer, Wilford Carnes, Donald Biddle, Walter Schreck & Kenzie Biddle.

Thomas lived back off of Highway #10, East side.

1.Lawrence m. in Calif.

2. Ella m. Henry, son of Geo. Carnes.

3. Byron not m. so far as known. Is in Phila.

4. Randall, d. m. (Alvie), dau. Of Asa McCracken of Foster. No childn. Randall accidentally killed with shotgun.

5. Nellie, d. not m. bur. Walnut Grove, d. age abt 18.

6. Lillie m. Wm. Keiffer (were children b. to them) Chicago, m1, Arthur, son of Fred Dietz (2 child. By Dietz)

7. Russell, in Chicago last acct.

8. Frank, not heard of since he left home when a small boy.

9. Ralph, prob. In Cov. Or at City.

10. Leslie, m. 1 Florence, dau. Of Marion Belew (or Burlew)

            m. 2 Elizabeth, dau. Of Poke Burlew (1 child)

Caleb Biddle (not grandfather of Johnson Biddle, m. Kate Courtney (sister of Tom Biddle’s wife & wife of John Biddle.

“This Caleb and Tom were not bros. But kin”.

Ella lives at Ft. Thomas.

Randall bur. Wal. Grove.
