"The
Lexington/Cincinnati Road
runs adjacent and the
Drover's Inn is a few yards
away. The Inn was a stopping
point for people, drovers,
heading to Cincinnati or
Lexington to sell cattle.
There were cattle pens
alongside the road and
the Inn so the cattle could
be kept while the drovers
got a meal and got a night's
rest." |
