Member of Boone's Creek Assn. since 1911. In 1922 the value of the church property was placed at $35,000. The corner stone reads; "Constituted Oct. 27, 1910. Dedicated Dec. 3, 1912." On Oct 23, 1910 120 members of First Baptist Church of Winchester requested letters of dismissal. In 1911 the pastor was Rev. Geo. W. Shepherd; he died soon after. Messengers to the Assn. in 1911 were Rev. Geo. W. Shepherd, S.A. Lipscomb, C.G. Bush, James Munday, A.J. Earp, S.C. Boone and Wm. Harris. James N. Chambers was clerk. In 1913 Rev. J.D. Gaultney was pastor; W.W. Clark was clerk; there were 259 members. In 1915 Dr. G.W. Perryman was pastor; there were 381 members. Dr. Perryman died Dec. 29, 1915. In 1916 Dr. R.l. Motley became the pastor, servng about 4 years. In 1921 Dr. W.M. Nevins became pastor. In 1914 Central Baptist Church entertained Boone's Creek Assn. Paul Shepherd was clerk in 1920 and 1921. B.F.
