Located near Levee, Montgomery Co.; has reported to Boone's Creek Assn. but once in 20 years - in 1909, when Rev. J.T. Turpin as supply pastor reported 71 members. L.B. Heflin was clerk.

In 1893 W.E. Heflin was a member and gave a brief history of the church:

Was organized in Aug 1872 with 21 members.

Wm. T. Tyree led the organization. Bro. James Edwards from Estill Co. was elected moderator, John Baker Secretary.

The church covenant was presented and read by Bro. Elias Brookshire. Rev. S.V. Potts preached a sermon.

In Feb. 1873 the church met at olive Chapel for business. S.V. Potts was elected moderator, Elihu Eversole elected Clerk.

Rev. Wm. T. Tyree called as pastor for 1873; he preached 1 year.

Elijah Steward and James White were chosen deacons.

Rev. Hicks then called as pastor; next called Shelby Todd who served 18 months.

Then Rev. B.N. Ensor was called; served 6 months.

In Aug. 1882 B.S. Burgher took charge.

A committee was formed to build a house, consisting of James Clark, G.P.Douglass, Elihu Eversole, Garrett Phillips and R.C. Riddell. The house was built on a lot donated by Harvey Phillips. The house cost $66.

In May 1884 Rev. J.M. Wells preached the dedicating sermon.

In Sept. 1884 the church was received into Boone's Creek Assn., which met at Ephesus.

In June 1884 Rev. T.L. Lawson was called as pastor.

In July J.I. Wills assisted the pastor in a series of meetings with 19 additions.

J.I. Wills served as pastor until Nov. 1885.

In Aug 1885 commenced a series of meetings, assisted by Rev. N. Todd; there were 6 additions to the congregation.

In 1887 Rev. B.S. Burgher called and served 2 years.

In Aug. 1887 a series of meetings were held, assisted by Rev. C.M. Riley with 22 additions.

In 1889 Rev. P. Hammons pastor; Rev. S.V. Potts assisted at meetings. Rev. Perry Hammons served 2 years.

In 1892 Rev. B.S. Burgher called, served 2 months; Z.W. Pigg served 3 months.

In July 1892 Revs. Z.W. Pigg and H.L. Watts held meetings - there were 6 additions to the congregation.

In Aug. 1892 Rev. H.L. Watts was called and is still pastor (1923).

Membership in 1923 was 71.

Rev. B.S. Burgher was pastor in 1894-1895.

Geo. Shepherd was pastor in 1896-1897.

T.J. Douglas was clerk about this time.

Rev. J.T. Turpin was pastor in 1901. Rev. W.L. Sheares was pastor in 1902.

This church had no regular pastor for years and affiliates with no association.
