Betty Beamon,
age 48, California, died Wednesday, June 4,
2003, at The St. Luke East Hospital, Fort
Thomas, Kentucky. She was a Prep Cook for
the Derdeuchler Restaurant in Waynesville,
Ohio.
Survivors include father Earl Biddle of
California, mother Betty Brownfield of
Kenton County, daughter Amy Beamon of
California, brother Earl Biddle, Jr. of
California and half sister Connie Lenox of
Kenton County.
Visitation was Saturday, June 7 at The
Cooper Funeral Home in Grants Lick,
Kentucky. Services were held Sunday at
Cooper’s Funeral Home. Interment was at The
Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Pendleton County.
Dorothy
Aulick Kimble was born May 6, 1914
to Alma and Henry Aulick of Falmouth and
passed away after a fall at her home on June
2, 2003.
In 1940, she married Charles Kimble. The
couple moved to California and she began to
work at Pacific Telephone, from which
position she retired after 25 years.
On December 6, 1980, she and her husband
moved to El Portal, California, where she
remained active as a creator of beautiful
quilts and enjoyed family around her.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1985.
She is survived by sisters, Jane Bentle of
Falmouth and Anna Reynolds of El Portal,
California; a brother, Robert Henry Aulick
of Falmouth; nephew John Reynolds and his
family of Yosemite National Park,
California; and several other nephews and
nieces.
After services at the Mariposa Funeral Home,
she was buried beside her husband in
Manchester, Ohio.

Alice Joslin
Harlow, 58, of Clarkston, Kentucky,
passed away Saturday, June 14, 2003 in
Tollesboro, Ky., at her grandson’s home.
Alice was born in Carrollton, Ky., on
November 10, 1944, daughter of the late
Curtis and Sylvia Martin Joslin. She was a
homemaker. She married Jim Harlow on August
25, 1962, whom survives her passing. She was
preceded in death by a son, James William
Harlow Jr., a daughter, Tammy Deloris Harlow
and a brother, John Joslin.
Besides her husband, other survivors include
a son, John Harlow of Falmouth; daughters,
Kay Turner of Falmouth, Charlotte Ann
Burdine of Crittenden and Charlene Mills,
also of Falmouth; brothers, Curtis R. Joslin
of Hamilton, Ohio and Ronnie Marlett of
Clarkston; a sister, Peggy Lucille Harlow of
Falmouth; 19 grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Bill
Winters of Blumfield, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday,
June 17 at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth
and one hour before the funeral services at
the church. Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at Trinity Southern
Baptist Church in Falmouth.
Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery,
Falmouth.
Donna Jo
Jump Stephenson, 63, of Dry Ridge,
passed away Monday, June 9, 2003 at her
home.
She was a packer with Levi Strauss & Co.,
Florence, and a member of Dry Ridge Baptist
Church. Her husband, Ernest Lee Stephenson,
preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Terry Lee Stephenson
of Dry Ridge, Gregory Merlin Stephenson of
Williamstown and Kelly Jump Stephenson of
Dry Ridge; a daughter, Christy Jo Stephenson
of Florence;a brother, Carlos Merlin Jump of
Dry Ridge; a sister, Merrily Jean Johns of
Crittenden; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 12 at
Dry Ridge Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Hill Crest Cemetery,
Dry Ridge.
Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
Norma Jean
Knox Kittle, 73, of Cynthiana,
passed away on June 11, 2003 in Atlanta, Ga.
She was born on September 3, 1929, the
daughter of the late Thacker and Lucille
Brandt Knox of Boyd. She was a graduate of
Eastern Kentucky University, a retired
school teacher, piano teacher, homemaker,
and organist and choir director for the
Cynthiana Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin
Kittle of Cynthiana; three daughters,
Jennifer Giersch of Atlanta, Ga., Cynthia
King of Springboro, OH, and Beverly Brockman
of Chattanooga, TN; three sons-in-law; and
five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 16
at the Cynthiana Presbyterian Church with
Rev. Lawrence Bowald officiating. Serving as
pallbearers were David Alexander, Gary
Brandt, Robert Brandt, Christopher Brockman,
Robert Giersch, Jeffrey King, and Joe
Spradling.
Interment was in the Pythian Grove Cemetery,
Berry.
Memorials are suggested to the Cynthiana
Presbyterian Church. 103 N. Main St.
Cynthiana, KY 41031.
Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry, served the
family.
MyMyrtle Woodman,
81, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, June
11, 2003.
She was the daughter of the late Joe and
Mimi Davis Powers. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Bill Dixon of
Butler; a daughter, JoAnn Coburn of Butler;
a sister, Lilly Mason of Frakes, Ky.; four
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Friday, June 13 at
Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth.
Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery,
Falmouth.
