Barbara Louise Hartman, 62, of DeMossville, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
She was a retired housekeeper with St. Charles Care Center, Covington and a member of Wilmington Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell L. Hartman Sr.; sons, Wendell L. Hartman Jr. and David Hartman, both of Sparta, Edward Hartman of Dry Ridge, James Douglas Hartman of Walton and Brian Hartman of Williamstown; a daughter, Rhonda Hartman of Edgewood; sisters, Grace Lemming of Gardnersville and Betty Hartman of Flemingsburg; a brother, Walter Sharon of Piner; and 12 grandchildren.
Services were Thursday, March 13 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
Interment was in the Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bert Theodore Reinhart Sr., 84, of Erlanger, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
He was a piece worker with General Electric, Cincinnati, and a member of the Bromley VFW Post. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II. His wife, Lois K. Houp Reinhart, preceded him in death in 2000.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Lynn Barton of DeMossville, Paula Myerhoff of Florence and Denise Lea Hoskins of Rising Sun, Ind.; sons, Bert Theodore Reinhart Jr. and Jeffrey Scott Reinhart, both of DeMossville; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, March 12 at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger.
Interment was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
Memorials are suggested to Florence Community Church of Nazarene, 199 Richardson Road, Independence, KY 41051; or St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th Street, Covington, KY 41014.


Buford A. Schlueter, 81, of Crittenden, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital South in Edgewood.
He was a farmer all of his life and also worked in the concrete business for 45 years. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 49 years. He enjoyed gardening and wood working. His wife, Hilda Bowen Schlueter, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Billy Ray Schlueter of Crittenden; a daughter, Deborah Reed of Crittenden; a brother, Elmo Richard Schlueter of Crittenden; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 15 at Unity Baptist Church, DeMossville.
Interment was in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Pendleton County.
Memorials are suggested to the Kentucky Baptist Children’s Homes and Gideons International, P.O. Box 222, Williamstown, KY 41097.
Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home handled the arrangements.


Judy Cox Gill, 49, of Berry, passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood.
She was born Friday, June 5, 1953 in West Liberty, Ky., daughter of the late Maxwell Cox and Esther Cox of Monroe, Ohio. She was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church and was a cosmetologist.
Besides her mother, Esther Lovely Cox, other survivors include a daughter, Lesley Corine Gill of Corinth; sisters, Lynn Fields of Springboro, Ohio, Connie Smith of Monroe, Ohio, Venida Sealock of Tipp City, Ohio, Brenda Walters of Troy, Ohio, Melissa McCann of Blue Ash, Ohio and Charlotte Bartlett of Carlisle, Ohio; brothers, Jason Cox of Berry, Timmy Cox of Raleigh, North Carolina, Larry Cox of Carlisle, Ohio and David Cox of Middletown, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Shane Moore and Jonah Moore.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 15 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown with Rev. David Foley officiating.
Interment was in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.

Orville Timothy Shields, 42, of Brooksville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 in Charlotte County, Florida.
He was born on November 27, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Orville Thomas and the late Ella Mae (Field) Shields of Ewing, Ky. He was a truck driver for Trauth Dairy in Newport. He served in the United States Navy from 1980-1992. He was also a member of the Milford Christian Church in Milford, Ky. He married Kristi Carol (Smith) Shields on March 1, 1996 and she survives his passing.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Tommy Shields.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Shields of Florida and a son, Timmy Shields of Brooksville; stepdaughters, Heather Honan and Hannah Honan, both of Brooksville; and sisters, Constance McCord of Ewing, Patricia Lester of Punta Gorda, Florida, Loretta Chase of Greensburg, Indiana and Carol Jean Carrick of Palm Dale, California.
Funeral services were Friday, March 14 at Moore & Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville.
Interment was in the Brooksville Cemetery.


Paul E. Marquette, 76, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Falmouth, passed away February 14, 2003 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Hampton.
He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church and Barber Shop Singing SPEBSQSA.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Marquette; daughters, Mary V. Dunham of Indianapolis and Nanette E. Marquette-Wicklund of Stafford, Virginia; sons, David P. Marquette of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Kent R. Marquette of Indianapolis; a sister, Nelle M. Kirby of Florence; brothers, Ralph L. Marquette of Punta Gorda, Florida and Rex E. Marquette of Ocala, Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were Thursday, March 13 at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church.
Interment was in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
Memorials are suggested to Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, 212 19th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23451; or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Walter E. Greenwell, 73, of Crittenden, passed away Friday, March 14, 2003 at VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was a bottler of the Meyer Milk Company in Cincinnati and a member of the Sherman Church of Christ. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was a Prisoner of War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hisel Greenwell of Crittenden; sons, Gary Greenwell and Danny Greenwell, both of Crittenden and Daryl Greenwell of Dry Ridge; daughters, Karen Glore of Dry Ridge and Vicky Sizemore of London, Ky.; a brother, Richard “Ted” Greenwell of Butler; a sister, Judy Vater of Grand Prairie, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 17 at the Gardnersville Christian Church.
Interment was in the Gardnersville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, handled arrangements.


William Joseph Gripshover, 71, of Morning View, passed away March 1 at his home.
He was a farmer and a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include brothers, Fred T. Gripshover of Covington and Edward Gripshover of Morning View; sisters, Rosella Cross of Latonia, Betty Gripshover of Covington and Rita Hoffman of DeMossville.
Mass of Christian burial was Thursday, March 13 at St. Matthews Church, Kenton.
Interment was in the Mother of God Cemetery, Ft .Wright.
Memorials are suggested to St. Matthews Church, 13816 Decoursey Pike, Kenton, KY 41053.
