14 Feb 06:
Amy Lynn Doerr, 30, Falmouth
Amy Lynn Barnard Doerr, 30, of Falmouth,
Ky., passed away on Wednesday, February 8,
2006 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center
South in Edgewood, Ky. Born on April 30,
1975 in Harrison County, Ky., she was a
daughter of Gary and Ann Ramey Barnard. On
November 21, 1998 she married Chad Doerr,
and her dear husband survives her passing.
She was a 1993 graduate of Pendleton County
High School and a 1998 graduate of Kentucky
Christian University. She formerly worked as
an elementary teacher at Northern
Elementary, Pendleton County, and later
worked at Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance in
Falmouth, Ky. She was a member of the
Antioch Mills Christian Church, Harrison
County, where she also served as the
pianist, a Sunday School teacher, choir
director, small group leader, Ladies Aid
member, and as a spiritual leader and
encourager to all who knew her.
"I believe Amy was an angel put here in our
community for each one of to know, to love,
and to be a witness to each of us that no
matter how we feel or what we have wrong
with us in our lives, we can still be a
strong Christian and teach others no matter
how short our life on earth is," said Debbie
Dennie. "I never saw Amy without a smile on
her young face. She was always bubbly and a
strong Christian woman. I was told that she
played the piano at church the Sunday before
she died.
"Her strong faith and her extraordinary
loving nature made her a remarkable woman. I
don't believe she ever met a stranger. Her
involvement with church, community, school
and friends from all over was highly
recognized last Friday evening by the huge,
huge turnout of those who came to pay their
last respects to her."
Antioch Mills said goodbye to a strong
Christian sister on Sunday, February 12,
2006. "During the service, the congregation
first worshipped God, as Amy always did, and
then shared testimony on the way that God
and Amy had touched our lives," said church
member and friend Keith Smith. "Our senior
minister and Amy's husband, Chad, shared
e-mails that Amy had been sending out to a
network of friends throughout her traveling
down this path.
"In Amy's words: I pray daily that God would
make Himself known to everyone connected
with this situation and pray that you will
join me in that prayer as well. Again I
cannot thank you enough for your prayers. To
know how busy you are and how many people
ask for your prayers, it humbles me to know
that you have taken time to lift me and my
family before our Great God. May God bless
you and your family as you have been such a
blessing to us!"

is survived by her daughter, Emrie
