Alma F. Hurst, 89, of Butler, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2006, at River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. She was born in Pendleton County on July 17, 1917, daughter of the late John and Nellie LaFollette McMillian. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Henry Hurst preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a daughter, Ruby Pauline Fornash and sisters, Ruby Elliott and Lucy Crouch.

Survivors include a son, John Roberts of Butler; sisters, Opel Sargent of Florence and Clarice Auchter of Falmouth; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, also at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in the Gardnersville Cemetery, Pendleton County.
