Opal B. Jackson, 87, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler, KY.

Opal was born on May 18, 1921, the daughter of the late Llano and Ollie Taylor Britton. She was a long time member of the Flour Creek Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Kenneth G. Jackson and brother, Lansing Britton. Surviving are son Richard (Barbara) Jackson of Butler; grandchildren Christopher and Stacy Jackson and great grand-children Austin and Seth Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 with the funeral services immediately following at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Interment will take place at the Butler Christian Cemetery in Butler.
