Yelton age 73 years of Butler died July 21st
at Lexington after a short illness.
Mr Yelton had
been a resident of Butler all of his life
and was a splendid citizen. His first
marriage was to Miss Nannie Dorsey of
Carlisle. To this union 6 children were
born, five of whom survive. All of the
children are grown. Mr Yelton's second
marriage was to Mrs Mattie Blume who also
survives him.
One brother and
one sister also survive. A. E. Yelton of
Butler and Mrs Mattie Burgoyne of Latonia.
The body of Mr Yelton was brought back to
Butler and burial was in Butler cemetery.

Mattie Blume was Martha Barton who was born
10/22/1854and died 4/18/1928 )
