Wilbur 'Deac' Yelton, Lithographer And WW II

Wilbur Deac Yelton, died THURSDAY at
Highland Springs in Fort Thomas.
Originally born in Cincinnati, he served in
WWII and graduated with an art degree from
the Cincinnati Art Academy. After spending
some time in Florida as an artist, Deac
returned to Kentucky and worked as a
lithographer in the printing business. Deac
was also an avid gardener and fisherman.
Survivors
include daughters, Kathy Yelton and Laura
Brown both of Falmouth; a son, Merritt
Yelton of Cold Spring, five grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation
will be held between 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday at
the Calvin Perry Community Center in
Alexandria.
Memorials
are suggested to the Hospice of the
Bluegrass.
